This is Iggy-doesn't look too friendly, does he? hopefully he can be tamed as he's only young. 

This is Iggy as we found him in my "sister-in-law's" rose bush. He seems to be doing OK for now, tho' no-one seems to want him-he may end up staying for good. 

This is one of the latest additions to the family-Ron or "chickie" to his friends. He's very playful-much to Pippy's delight, and also very affectionate. 

We went to a medieval fair and they had a bird show. This was one of the owls, they had the usual falcons and stuff, but also eagles and vultures-amazing animals close up.

The figs are coming on nicely despite the drought. 

This year the apple tree has done us proud and with hardly any aphids.

OOPS, sorry forgot to put this foto the right way up!!!This is a wild grape plant that we had at the top of the garden. we inserted a cutting from another plant and hey presto!!! 

Well, the summer's here again, it's soooo hot here, I'm not sure I'll last the summer out. The good thing about the summer here is that we can enjoy beach parties. Here's a foto of Gabi getting into the mood at a "belly dance" party we went to last weekend.
I'm also gonna post some fotos of our veggie patch so you can see how it's getting on.
I begin a months holiday this weekend, I hope the weather is cooler or it'll be impossible to do anything in the heat. I want to get out and about a bit and I'll post some foties.
